Good coffee is no accident. Sandra Götting and Mario Joka, the two founders of roestbar, are firmly convinced of this. Since 2003, they have only roasted specialty coffee in their coffee roastery. Today on Molly, the true soul of the company and her signature coffee roasting machine from the global brand Probat. She is at the heart of the roestbar coffee roasting company and it is thanks to her and the roasters' sensitivity that beans reveal their secret there day after day. Molly's predecessor Adele, on the other hand, was sent into well-deserved retirement from the roasting machine. Customers can now experience how the resulting creations taste in five coffee houses throughout Münster. Five? Well, actually there are six. The sixth roasting bar is located in Gulu, a town in northern Uganda. Opened in 2014 and expanded to include two newly built “guest huts” in 2021, it is an income project that promotes the independence of local people. So it's worth a visit there too!
