Discover coffee aromas
We believe that good coffee makes our world a better place. We don't just mean your morning routine, but everything that happens before you enjoy your espresso or filter coffee.
From cultivation to roasting to packaging. Every time you buy really good coffee, you are setting a small example for fair wages, sustainability and attention to detail. That's why we want to make it as easy as possible for you to buy good coffee that exactly suits your taste.
That's why our coffee experts have developed five aroma types. This is how you find coffees that suit you just right.
Spicy & strong
You won't find any acid here. Your coffee has a strong body and intense aromas. It brings a rustic note and a wholemeal bread sweetness.
- Spices and intense roasted notes
Nutty & chocolaty
Your coffee is low in acid and has a nutty-sweet taste paired with a full body. It is often bittersweet and has a chocolatey, roasted flavor.
- Cocoa, hazelnut and noticeable roasted aromas
Fruity & lively
Your coffee is neither subtle nor delicate, but vibrant. You like the mouthfeel with lace, a strong body and fruity flavors.
- Apple, red berries, cane sugar
Floral & light
Your coffee is sweet, light and carries a subtle scent, similar to flowers. It brings together fruity tones, bright acidity and a light body.
- Jasmine and peach notes – very delicate aromas
Experimental & complex
Your coffee is complex, medium-bodied with citrusy acidic notes. The freshness and liveliness make each cup unique.
- Cooked fruits, pineapple
