But if you need more, you can brew up to four small cups. There's also a cup for good friends in there. Just write us a message and we will explain to you how to brew several cups of coffee using the so-called by-pass method.

The lightweight plastic flask is easy to clean and is also perfect for on the go! Despite its easy handling, the Single Cup Brewer is full of versatile possibilities. There are no limits when it comes to experimenting with the brewing variables.

Are you ready to get the maximum flavor from your coffee beans and discover unexpected flavor nuances? Here you will find out how to brew a delicious cup of coffee with your AeroPress step by step.

1. Freshly grind your coffee beans.

For a cup of filter coffee , we recommend 16-20 grams of freshly ground coffee beans, depending on your taste. The perfect grind for the AeroPress is between fine and medium-fine. Feel free to try out different grinding levels until you like it best! You can find out below which coffee beans are suitable for preparation with the AeroPress.

2. Insert the filter.

Now place the filter in the filter insert. If you use a paper filter, rinse it carefully with water. This way you avoid an undesirable aftertaste from the paper. Now screw the filter insert into the AeroPress.

3. Boil water and add ground coffee to the cylinder.

We recommend 200 ml/g of hot water for 16 g of coffee. The ideal water temperature for the AeroPress is 90°C. If you cannot adjust the temperature on your kettle, allow the water to cool for about a minute after boiling. Now add your ground coffee.

4. Fill with water and stir.

Now fill your AeroPress about three-quarters full with water. Here you can experiment with the amount of water. If you fill the plunger to 2, you will brew a relatively strong, concentrated coffee. Now the practical plastic stirring rod comes into use. Stir the moistened coffee grounds evenly so that the coffee grounds are well distributed in the water. Let the whole thing steep for around 1:30.

5. Pour in the remaining water

...until the AeroPress is filled to the desired level. Insert the plunger into the AeroPress and pull it out very slightly.

6. Turn over and press down.

Now press the plunger down slowly and evenly for 20-30 seconds so that the coffee flows into your mug below.

There are no right coffee beans for the AeroPress. From light to medium roasted filter coffee beans to lighter roasted espresso beans , everything is possible here. Which coffee beans you should buy for your AeroPress depends largely on your taste. In our online shop you will find a large selection of freshly roasted coffee beans, perfect for the AeroPress.
