When a specialty coffee roastery opened in Berlin Friedrichshain in 2002, 19grams was just starting out. Shaped by idealism, conviction and passion, you entered the world of specialty coffee. You traveled, talked to farmers, learned and crawled through the dirt on your own coffee plantation - all with the aim of getting the best out of the little red cherry that would later become becomes the fine bean of the beloved drink. The passion for the diversity of the product is reflected in all the roasts: different year after year, even from the same farmer with whom we have been working for almost 20 years. Respecting the harvest cycle and the people who harvest still plays a big role for the makers of 19grams. As much as you have changed over the years, some things never change. Good thing, we say!
