The Novum blend includes Catuai from Peru, SL 28 from Kenya and Heirloom from Ethiopia. A popular strain grown in South America, Catuai is a cross between the high-yielding Mundo Novo and the hardy Caturra. The yellow or red cherries of the Catuai plant produce a light, fruity acidity in the cup when lightly roasted.

This espresso is known for its intense aromas of black currant and the sweetness of dark chocolate. It is a staple of our range and the three varieties used are carefully selected through annual contracts with farms or cooperatives. This espresso has a balanced and aromatic, fruity acidity and a pleasant balance of sweetness and berry fruitiness.
