Everything about the product

This is what Röststätte says about the producers and the cultivation of the Los Duran filter:

Located in the West Valley of Costa Rica, the Duran family farm thrives under the care of Eduardo Duran and his three sons Barney, Kendall and Arnold. Together they oversee the farm's micro-mill and grow a range of varieties, including the innovative hybrid H3. Located at altitudes between 1300 and 1650 meters, the El Roble section of the farm showcases the H3 hybrid's resistance to disease and fungi while delivering remarkable production and cup quality. The H3 hybrid, a cross between Ethiopian and Caturra varieties, represents the next generation of coffee plants. In the fascinating La Carpa fermentation method, the coffee beans are placed on a white plastic sheet, the "Carpa", where the fermentation process is triggered by a controlled supply of water becomes.

This is what Röststätte says about the preparation and taste of the Los Duran filter:

At a hot temperature you will find the inviting sweetness of dried plums. As the coffee cools to a moderate temperature, notes of grapes and dark chocolate emerge, offering a delightful interplay of flavors. Once it reaches a refreshingly cool temperature, the grape notes remain and provide a harmonious experience. The lingering aftertaste is remarkably long-lasting. The aroma is reminiscent of dried plums and seduces the senses. The texture of the coffee is a pleasant mix of creamy and buttery, which contributes to its medium body. A medium sweetness completes this captivating cup.
