Floral & light
Your coffee is sweet, light and carries a subtle fragrance similar to flowers. It combines fruity tones, bright acidity and a medium to heavy body.
Acidity
Like a lively sparkle that adds a hint of sweetness and fruity flavor. It is what makes your taste buds tingle, reminiscent of biting into a crisp apple or sipping a tarty cherry juice. This lively trait brings coffee to life in a unique way.
Bitterness
Like a pinch of seasoning, bitterness enhances coffee’s complexity. It is a balancing act with too little, the coffee may taste overly sweet or tangy. Robusta beans are naturally more bitter than Arabica due to the higher levels of these compounds. Light-medium roasts offer a pleasant bitterness, while darker roasts yield a stronger, lingering bitter sensation. Keep in mind, that taste varies – what is bitter to you might be enjoyable to others.
Body
Refers to how a coffee feels in your mouth – it is like the weight and texture that you sense as you sip. Imagine it as the difference between whole milk feeling rich and creamy compared to skim milk feeling lighter. Body gives coffee a sense of substance and depth, making each sip a satisfying experience.
Sweetness
Coffee’s link to fruitiness isn’t always obvious, but the beans are loaded with carbs and amino acids inherited from the coffee cherry. When roasted, these carbs become the building blocks of sweetness, like the simple sugars found in fruits. Through the Maillard reaction (roasting), they transform into the cozy sweetness we enjoy, reminding us of the cherry’s natural flavours.

Everything about the product

This is what Pacandé says about the producers and the cultivation of Sudan Rume Filter:

Introducing our exceptional Christmas Edition, a trio of premium coffees carefully selected for their exceptional flavor profiles and recognized by world-renowned baristas in national and international competitions. These rare gems include the Sudan Rume, Geisha and Moka varieties, all from the picturesque Cundinamarca region. Located in the mountains of Colegio, Cundinamarca, Hacienda Misiones has been producing coffee for a century, shipping 600 tons of this exquisite brew via the Magdalena River to Germany, England and the United States. Under the leadership of Don Luis Fernando Lloreda, the Hacienda's plantations were revitalized with exotic coffee varieties such as Java, Pacamara, Sudan Rume, Moka, Gesha and others.

This is what Pacandé says about the preparation and taste of the Sudan Rume Filter:

This Sudan Rume was prepared using the washed method. Thanks to this process, this coffee shines with incredible aromas like a bouquet of flowers. It is sweet with a round body and a long aftertaste.

Pacandé thinks this is worth mentioning:

This Christmas you can experience the extraordinary of our trio from Hacienda Misiones. The final part of the Christmas trio will be available in early December.
