Everything about the product

This is what Maldaner says about the producers and the cultivation of the Guda Maria Filter:

The coffee beans used to make Guda Maria come from Nuevo Oriente, Guatemala and are grown by 82 farmers in the mountain village of Lampocoy. With a cultivation altitude of 1000-1500 meters and an ideal, cool and humid microclimate, the coffee cherries take more than ten months to reach full maturity. Guda Maria is 100% directly traded coffee, meaning the farmers receive a price 40% higher than the world market level and various educational, health and infrastructure projects are supported for a better future of the village.

This is what Maldaner says about the preparation and the taste of the Guda Maria Filter:

Guda Maria is a nutty and mild filter coffee that offers a rich body. Regardless of the preparation method, whether hand filter, French press or aeropress, Guda Maria always offers a satisfying experience. It has become a classic and our best-selling filter coffee, but can also be enjoyed as a mild espresso from a portafilter or espresso pot.

Maldaner also finds this worth mentioning:

Renate, Guda Maria, the boss and soul of the Maldan coffee house, has always been a big fan of this pure Arabica variety from Guatemala. It's the first coffee the coffeehouse has roasted in-house, and it's a top choice for filter coffee lovers.
