Floral & light
Your coffee is sweet, light and carries a subtle fragrance similar to flowers. It combines fruity tones, bright acidity and a medium to heavy body.
Acidity
Like a lively sparkle that adds a hint of sweetness and fruity flavor. It is what makes your taste buds tingle, reminiscent of biting into a crisp apple or sipping a tarty cherry juice. This lively trait brings coffee to life in a unique way.
Bitterness
Like a pinch of seasoning, bitterness enhances coffee’s complexity. It is a balancing act with too little, the coffee may taste overly sweet or tangy. Robusta beans are naturally more bitter than Arabica due to the higher levels of these compounds. Light-medium roasts offer a pleasant bitterness, while darker roasts yield a stronger, lingering bitter sensation. Keep in mind, that taste varies – what is bitter to you might be enjoyable to others.
Body
Refers to how a coffee feels in your mouth – it is like the weight and texture that you sense as you sip. Imagine it as the difference between whole milk feeling rich and creamy compared to skim milk feeling lighter. Body gives coffee a sense of substance and depth, making each sip a satisfying experience.
Sweetness
Coffee’s link to fruitiness isn’t always obvious, but the beans are loaded with carbs and amino acids inherited from the coffee cherry. When roasted, these carbs become the building blocks of sweetness, like the simple sugars found in fruits. Through the Maillard reaction (roasting), they transform into the cozy sweetness we enjoy, reminding us of the cherry’s natural flavours.

Everything about the product

This is what Impuls says about the producers and the cultivation of the Dimtu Tero Filter:

Ethiopia, the country of origin of coffee, produces high-quality organic coffee. The coffee farmers in Guji, in the Oromia region, work at an altitude of 1800 - 2100 meters and use the humid climate and the fertile volcanic soil for cultivation. They rely on a large number of varieties, some of which are still growing in the wild, which give the coffee a complex and fruity aroma. Ethiopia is still a world of aromas to discover and explore, even for coffee experts. A sixth of the population works in the coffee sector.

This is what Impuls says about the preparation and taste of the Dimtu Tero Filter:

The hand-roasted specialty coffee DIMTU TERO ETHIOPIA (BIO) impresses with its complex, spicy aromas and fruity sweetness. In Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, the coffee cherries enjoy over 13 months of sunshine a year thanks to the local calendar. Here in Tero, the coffee farmers produce the organic coffee in a purely organic way. Its fine acidity and fruity sweetness complement the existing cherry and vanilla notes with subtle peach and jasmine aromas and gentle notes of milk chocolate round off the overall picture harmoniously. The medium roast as an American Roast leaves enough room for acidity to create interest.

With this coffee you start your day right, because the subtle floral notes do not overwhelm you directly. The fruit notes are not too intense, which means that the acidity is also rather lower. Thus, the coffee is also suitable for a larger group with different preferences. Tip: Use a little more ground coffee than usual.
