Everything about the product

This is what ICKPA says about the producers and the cultivation of the Alaka filter:

Alaka, a village at an altitude of about 2,000 meters in the Hambela woreda within the Guji appellation, is home to a fascinating coffee forest. Just over five years ago, METAD took over the management of this remarkable coffee oasis. The area is home to majestic trees of various species, providing ample shade and nutrient-rich soils that contribute to the cultivation of exceptionally high quality coffee. METAD is responsible for harvesting the cherries and uses the sun-drying method on African beds for processing. Beyond coffee cultivation, METAD is strongly committed to local social and environmental initiatives. The organization regularly conducts training and offers coffee farmers upfront payments to improve their financial stability. In addition, METAD has distributed over 600,000 coffee seeds to the farmers it works with. In addition to building roads, METAD has funded new primary schools, covering all associated costs for 800 students, including equipment and teacher salaries. In addition, the organization provides scholarships to 105 disadvantaged students in the Gedeo region and carries out projects to support women farmers, particularly in the area of disease prevention and preparedness.

This is what ICKPA says about the preparation and taste of the Alaka filter:

Let yourself be enchanted by the captivating aromas of this coffee, which has pronounced notes of rose water and lavender, reminiscent of muscat bubble gum.
