Everything about the product

This is what Hoppenworth & Ploch says about the producers and the cultivation of the Shawo Filter:

Our coffee comes from careful producers in the Dambi Uddo region in Guji, Ethiopia. This Ethiopian natural coffee is grown in a fascinating ecosystem characterized by at least 15 different endemic coffee varieties. The coffee plants grow under a dense canopy of leaves in a largely natural ecosystem. The neighboring coffee farmers cultivate the coffee plants in one part of the forest, while the other half cannot be cultivated due to the dense vegetation.

This is what Hoppenworth & Ploch says about the preparation and taste of the Shawo Filter:

Our Ethiopian Shawo coffee impresses with its fruity-berry profile, which produces aromas of strawberry jam and elderberry in the filter coffee. Ethiopian coffees are known for their diversity of coffee plant species, only a fraction of which have been identified and classified. This results in a unique flavor profile depending on the region and plant, which makes Ethiopian coffee so special and exciting.
