Nutty & chocolaty
Your coffee is low in acidity, exhibits a nutty sweet flavour, and is often bittersweet with a chocolaty roast taste.
Acidity
Like a lively sparkle that adds a hint of sweetness and fruity flavor. It is what makes your taste buds tingle, reminiscent of biting into a crisp apple or sipping a tarty cherry juice. This lively trait brings coffee to life in a unique way.
Bitterness
Like a pinch of seasoning, bitterness enhances coffee’s complexity. It is a balancing act with too little, the coffee may taste overly sweet or tangy. Robusta beans are naturally more bitter than Arabica due to the higher levels of these compounds. Light-medium roasts offer a pleasant bitterness, while darker roasts yield a stronger, lingering bitter sensation. Keep in mind, that taste varies – what is bitter to you might be enjoyable to others.
Body
Refers to how a coffee feels in your mouth – it is like the weight and texture that you sense as you sip. Imagine it as the difference between whole milk feeling rich and creamy compared to skim milk feeling lighter. Body gives coffee a sense of substance and depth, making each sip a satisfying experience.
Sweetness
Coffee’s link to fruitiness isn’t always obvious, but the beans are loaded with carbs and amino acids inherited from the coffee cherry. When roasted, these carbs become the building blocks of sweetness, like the simple sugars found in fruits. Through the Maillard reaction (roasting), they transform into the cozy sweetness we enjoy, reminding us of the cherry’s natural flavours.

Everything about the product

This is what Hermetic Coffee Roasters says about the producers and the cultivation of the LL filter:

Las Lobelias coffee is grown in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, a tropical paradise with lush vegetation, exotic birds and breathtaking views. The region is known for producing high-quality Arabica coffee beans, particularly the Caturra and Catuaí varieties, which thrive in the high elevations and sedimentary soils. Coopelibertad RL is a cooperative of over 1,000 small and medium-sized coffee producers in Tarrazú. It offers coffee producers access to knowledge and markets, and enables farmers to achieve better results and yields from their agricultural work. The aim of the cooperative is to improve the livelihood and quality of life of its members while preserving the coffee culture in the region as a valuable and sustainable activity.

This is what Hermetic Coffee Roasters says about the preparation and the taste of the LL filter:

Las Lobelias is a light, floral and juicy filter coffee from Tarrazú, Costa Rica, with notes of milk chocolate, rosehip, watermelon, pomegranate, pear, chamomile and a smooth and pleasant acidity. It is perfect for cold brews on hot days and also produces a light and nutty flat white as an espresso. Las Lobelias' flavor profile includes rosehip, watermelon, milk chocolate, flowers, pomegranate, pear, malt and chamomile, with a full and elegant body and a sweet, smooth and pleasant acidity.

Hermetic Coffee Roasters also finds this worth mentioning:

To prepare coffee with the Kalita Wave 155, it is recommended to use 17g of ground coffee, choose a water temperature of 95 °C and make the first infusion of 30 ml for 30 seconds and the second infusion of 200 ml for 100 seconds. A water content of around 70ppm is recommended for best results and the beans should be degassed at least 8 days after the roast date.
