Nutty & chocolaty
Your coffee is low in acidity, exhibits a nutty sweet flavour, and is often bittersweet with a chocolaty roast taste.
Acidity
Like a lively sparkle that adds a hint of sweetness and fruity flavor. It is what makes your taste buds tingle, reminiscent of biting into a crisp apple or sipping a tarty cherry juice. This lively trait brings coffee to life in a unique way.
Bitterness
Like a pinch of seasoning, bitterness enhances coffee’s complexity. It is a balancing act with too little, the coffee may taste overly sweet or tangy. Robusta beans are naturally more bitter than Arabica due to the higher levels of these compounds. Light-medium roasts offer a pleasant bitterness, while darker roasts yield a stronger, lingering bitter sensation. Keep in mind, that taste varies – what is bitter to you might be enjoyable to others.
Body
Refers to how a coffee feels in your mouth – it is like the weight and texture that you sense as you sip. Imagine it as the difference between whole milk feeling rich and creamy compared to skim milk feeling lighter. Body gives coffee a sense of substance and depth, making each sip a satisfying experience.
Sweetness
Coffee’s link to fruitiness isn’t always obvious, but the beans are loaded with carbs and amino acids inherited from the coffee cherry. When roasted, these carbs become the building blocks of sweetness, like the simple sugars found in fruits. Through the Maillard reaction (roasting), they transform into the cozy sweetness we enjoy, reminding us of the cherry’s natural flavours.

Everything about the product

This is what Hermetic Coffee Roasters says about the producers and the cultivation of the B 1 espresso:

The coffee contains 15% Las Lobelias beans from Tarrazú, Costa Rica, which are washed and known for their aromas of lavender, jasmine, fruit tea, rose, nougat, honey, lemon, cinnamon, sweet and fruity. The coffee is produced by Coopelibertad RL, a cooperative bringing together over 1,000 small and medium-sized coffee producers with the aim of improving the livelihoods and quality of life of its members. The cooperative uses water and energy-saving processing technologies and organic fertilizers to protect the environment. The coffee also contains Toucan beans from the Cerrado Minero, Minas Gerais, Brazil, which are characterized by their aromas of milk chocolate, nougat and roasted hazelnuts.

This is what Hermetic Coffee Roasters says about the preparation and taste of the B 1 espresso:

The dark B1 roast is a full-bodied coffee that is perfect for preparing strong and chocolaty espressos. It has low acidity and is characterized by spicy dark and chocolatey body notes as well as aromas of salted caramel and dried apricots, blood orange acid and flavor notes of roasted hazelnuts and maple syrup. This blend works well for classic espresso drinks like flat whites, cappuccinos, and lattes.

Hermetic Coffee Roasters also finds this worth mentioning:

To make a double espresso with a Portafilter machine, it is recommended to use 20g of ground coffee and heat the water to 93°C. The brewing time should be 29 seconds and the weight of the drink should be 35g/1.23oz. For best results, it is recommended to distribute the coffee grounds evenly to avoid channeling, to grind the coffee more coarsely for a quicker shot and less bitterness, and to use filtered water.
