The explorer has made an arduous journey. This is a Monsooned coffee from the Chikmagalur region in India. Ok, maybe the journey wasn't that difficult after all. Monsooned coffees like the discoverer are no longer exposed to the wind and weather during ship transport. This process is now mimicked in the countryside and the coffee is exposed to the heavy monsoon rains for a few weeks. It develops a characteristic, slightly fermented aroma.

Due to the light roasting, the discoverer unfolds nutty aromas and a caramel-like sweetness, as well as a taste of tropical wood. It is ideal for all filter coffee preparations and also shows its full potential in the stovetop pot.
