This unique strain underwent a 48-hour anaerobic dry fermentation process, with dried tangerine peels added during fermentation. The coffee was then dried on raised beds together with dehydrated mandarin peel at temperatures below 35 °C until the desired moisture content was reached. This microlot is composed exclusively of the Castillo variety, known for its high productivity and resistance to leaf rust, developed by the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros.
