In 2011, the coffee farmers from Jaltenango joined forces to defeat the coffee rust catastrophe together. Finca El Flamingo blows the mind, and not just because of the name, which harks back to her love for the relaxing town of Celestún. Here in the Yucatán region on the north coast of Mexico it becomes the meeting place for migratory birds, flamingos and all kinds of waterfowl from November to April. Simply a paradise!

The El Flamingo Espresso from Black Delight - a must for coffee lovers! It belongs to the Strictly High Grown (SHG) strains. This means that the coffee plants grow at an altitude of at least 1200 meters and therefore mature more slowly. The result? A flavorful coffee that's full of nutty chocolate and smooth caramel. You can think of it as a piece of crusty toasted bread that has been dipped in coffee liquid. Let's take a look at the details: 4/5 roast, produced by the Jaltenango community of the Jaltenango region of Chiapas, Mexico. The beans were grown at an altitude of 1200-1500m and are a combination of Sachimore, Caturra, Bourbon, Geisha and Oro Azteca varieties. The harvest dates back to 2021 and bears the EU organic seal.
